What happened??

You wake up in the morning with an altered heart rate, a sense of loss, dizziness in your head, a tremor, and an overall feeling that resembles a low‑sugar attack.  You wash your face, take a shower, and realize that your mind keeps producing the same images over and over… that your bank account is low, that your job is not secure, besides the fact that you are not living your purpose and you’ve accepted an average life.

Suddenly, as you wash your hair, you feel a lump behind your ear, and it has the power to produce a new series of thoughts of sickness and deterioration of your body to very possibly imminent death all alone, since your lover is selfish, and you realize that in your life, you really are alone and lonely.

What happened?

You have been attacked!!!  You are worrying, imagining, fearing, succumbing to the world and the oldest enemy of all time – the “polluted mind.”  The mind is the arena where the enemy is fighting its way in to conquer you and destroy you, and it will keep pushing its way through until those thoughts and images go right into the center of your heart and become beliefs and certainties in your life.

At that point, you are really in danger, not just because you have a distorted view of reality, but also because with your actions, your words, and your presence, you will influence other people to live in a state of inner poverty and dis‑ease.

At this point, you usually forget one thing that can change your whole life around – the images of your mind, your feelings, and physical sensations –a knowing that the sages and masters of the past have been trying to convey in all possible ways, a spiritual force invisible to the natural eye that can hold your whole life together.  It’s intangible, but more solid than any rock that exists on this planet.  You can’t prove it to a scientist, because it does not belong to the laws of nature.  It’s divine.

It’s supernatural.

It’s real.

It’s FAITH!!!!

Yes, FAITH is a spiritual power.  It’s an attitude that eliminates and obliterates those wrong images, those fears and worries.

FAITH is an art that sculpts the object, and the subject that sculpts sculptures and the sculptor.

FAITH is a seed that grows into a huge tree that produces more and more fruits.

FAITH is the knowing that there is a supernatural power and spirit that can deliver you from your burdens, sicknesses, and pains.

FAITH has no preference or separation – it works if you are rich, poor, black, white, tall, short, man, woman, old, or young – for the simple reason that in faith, there is love, compassion, courage, creativity, tolerance, and lots of patience.

If you are ready to change, to take responsibility, to stop blaming, and to free yourself from dogmas and ideas; if you are ready to surrender, to get yourself out of the way and let go, then you are ready to allow more and to claim and proclaim that this powerful train enter your life and take you high, take you far, take you within.  Then FAITH is yours, it’s ours.

Are you ready?

Are you ready to ask and receive it?

Do it then.  Don’t waste your time, your life, and your energy clinging to belief systems that don’t work.

FAITH is eternal.  It always existed, but it’s forgotten, and like never before, it’s needed.

That is why I insist over and over – wake up, don’t miss the train, catch it before it passes….

Below are some of the Master graduates at the end of the course.

A while ago, there was a meditation master that was teaching his students, and he said to them,
“Now we’re going to practice The Christ Meditation,” and the students looked at him with
a surprised look because they never heard such a thing. One of the students asked him, “Master,
what is The Christ Meditation?” In that moment, the Master closed his eyes and went deep within
and suddenly a tear ran down his face, and after a few minutes, he opened his watery eyes and said,
“The Christ Meditation is when you go deep within and you connect to the most incredible,
beautiful Divine Love that makes your eyes overflow with tears of love, of joy, of pain, of beauty,
and the most incredible of all of the loves. It’s when you become that love.”

On December 17, a few people are going to assemble on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica in the
jungle to go through the Master Retreat for 21 days where we’re going to practice The Christ
Meditation. We’re going to get connected to the inner beauty, the inner love, the inner joy that
makes your eyes tear up and makes your mind empty and your heart open.

Why I Like Anthony De Mello

I found Anthony De Mello probably 15 or 16 years ago when I read his book Awareness, and it really grabbed my attention.  I don’t usually advertise too many books, but Anthony De Mello (who has since passed away) was a special man.  When I read this book, I looked up who he was, and I found out that he was the real deal.  He was a Catholic Jesuit from India, and he was obviously surrendered to Jesus Christ, but he was spending months in solitude on retreats being by himself in prayer.  He was not just a knowledgeable person, he was a realized person, and he was practicing the discipline of opening as love.  I learned a lot from him.  I wish there were more people like him in the world – Jesuits that are not dogmatic or religious, but are open to love.  It is necessary that you spend time alone, go into a jungle, go into deep meditation and deep communion with God, to have those realizations.  If you have a chance, if you haven’t read it yet, buy the book Awareness: The Perils and Opportunities of Reality by Anthony De Mello.  It will give you insights.  It will give you understanding.  And it was written by an incredible man.

Are you growing old or GROWING UP?

One thing I noticed is that one of the most difficult things to do in life is “CUT THE UMBILICAL CORD.”

Obviously, your umbilical cord was cut by the doctor during birth.  However, I’m talking about the emotional umbilical cord that no doctor can cut for you, only you can cut for yourself.  First, you must know that you have it, and one way to recognize it is to notice that when you are around your family, they still treat you like you are 15 years old.  Your behavior allows them to scold you and maybe not trust you with your own money and decisions.  When you enter your family’s energetic field, you regress into a child, and you may do the same with a partner, which is why your relationship is not working, because unconsciously your parents are with you.   You go on and on looking for different partners carrying the “umbilical cord” with you, and the relationships never quite work.

To grow up means to cut those threads of energy from the past.  It is the realization that you are your own woman or man and that you are no longer a little girl, but a Queen, or you are no longer a kid, but a King.  This transition is not easy, because growing up means to face your responsibilities.  It means to face your fears, and once you do it, you are no longer the pleaser of your family.  Real love will happen, and instead of GROWING OLD, you will GROW UP.  Your life will change.  You will start a new business, which is probably something that your family never told you that you could do.  You will be able to love without those infantile needs to get attention.  You will learn to build a healthy, loving relationship with your family.

Sing As If It Were Spring!

Do you feel like writing poetry lately?  Do you feel inspired to sing in your car at the top of your lungs?  Do you want to dance the “gratitude dance” to God?

If you don’t feel like doing those things, it is because your heart its closing and you are giving up on love.  You are listening to the “bad news” about the economy, the upcoming flu, possible terrorist attacks, etc.  The dark season has arrived, and it’s easy to close down and allow the mind to entertain thoughts of anger and fear instead of focusing on LOVE and FAITH.  WAKE UP brothers and sisters!  Outside the leaves are turning yellow and are falling from the trees, but OPEN your heart and let SPRING in!  Don’t trust your five senses, don’t believe what your negative friends implant into your heart.  TRUST that everything is OK when things are not working.  TRUST when you have no evidence of success that you will succeed.  TRUST when your heart is in pain that it will be healed.  This TRUST is called FAITH.  FAITH is the knowing that GOD IS WITH YOU no matter what!  Deep inside, there is a little light called “HOPE.”  Even if your body is feeling anxiety and inside you are grieving, it is there.  Keep focusing on hope, and IT WILL GROW, and step by step your heart will relax and open.  It will beat with passion.  And as it grows, your mouth will start to speak words of VICTORY, LOVE, SUCCESS, and VISION.  When there is an overflow of love, it will come out of your mouth as beautiful words.  Continue to utter those words of FAITH over and over again.  Then the recession will disappear from your consciousness, the flu will stay away from you, and you will begin to sing in the car as if it were spring again letting the light in to shine as the autumn sun is distancing itself from the earth.
